COLONICS:
The lower colon is gently flushed with body temperature, filtered water to release stagnant pockets of fecal matter. Disposable FDA approved speculms are used. Your privacy is respected. This is a painless, smelless, and a fascinating experience as you start to take charge of your body's health! This is in ways, the "PhD" of body work! We suggest seasonal detoxing with herbal cleansers, lightening up the diet with all fruits, vegi's and half the body weight in water, and a colonic to jump-start the cleansing process. Juice fasting is a wonderful adjunct to this cleansing as well. Check out our juicing classes. Gather 3-6 people and Wendy will hold a private class just for your group of family, friends or colleagues. This is not for people wanting "to loose weight", as you regain the fecal poundage back. LPG ENDERMOLOGIE FOR CELLULITE:
Denise Austin, one of America's aerobic and fitness leaders endorses this quality, state-of-the-art cellulite procedure. This machine was the first FDA approved cellulite machine in America. LPG arrived in America in 1996. Louis Paul Gaitey, a French Engineer designed this machine in response to his own scar tissue in 1986.
LPG Endermologie has many purposes. Many plastic surgeons and chiropractors as well as day spas are using this tool to smooth scar tissue, speed recovery and minimize scarring, and of course for cellulite. The plastic surgeons say even with liposuction that the fat comes out more smoothly and easily when LPG is done before, and speeds the site after in healing. Thi is the first machine approved by the FDA to reduce the appearance of cellulite. It also improves blood circulation. One feels profoundly relaxed and sleeps better after their LPG treatment.
Women's cellulite has always been somewhat of a mystery, and certainly misunderstood. The simplest explanation is that the body stores little pockets of fat. Through stimulation of the lymphatic system either manually or with exercise, or both, right diet, and drinking lots of water we can keep our lymphatic system flowing.
Our Endermologie Cellulite Machine is painless, simple, yet a highly effective tool to help stimulate the lymph system by gently suctioning the skin between two rollers. The skin is lifted and massaged or exercised with the rollers. This increases the circulation, thereby moving the lymph system. Congested cells that look "dimpled" may become smoother with this system.
In our Initial Consultation we take your medical history, and we discuss your goals. One wears a body suit while the treatment is done. It takes our Certified Technician 35 minutes to work the back, buttock, thighs, legs and abdomen. We will focus on your areas of concern.
It usually takes a series of twelve 35 minute sessions to achieve the look that you are after. You will begin to feel the difference in 2-3 visits, and see the results in 7-8 visits! The fastest results come with women who only have 10-20 pounds to loose. After watching the folk who have used this system--one tends to stay with LPG if they have less weight to loose. Large body mass can be toned, but it may take six to twelve months of the right diet, exrecise, and this system. My recommendation, after loosing 30 pounds with our juicing classes, is to loose the majority of the weight first, then use LPG to tone, lift, and tighten the sagging, unmuscled skin. Then adding weight training to build the muscle under the skin.
Our bodies are entirely different-hormones fluctuate so that our “body types” can be "slow responders" or "fast responders". It may take 24-28 sessions to smooth the appearance of cellulite for some.
There comes a point where the body "plateaus" and one needs to add more cardiovascular calorie-burning routines and to eat lighter. We work together. Faster results come when one drinks lots of water--8 eight ounce glasses of water daily, cardio work-outs 3-7 times a week for a minimum of 30 minutes, and cutting down on starches, fats, and sugars. Maintenance, like maintaining any machine, with LPG can be done one time every four to six weeks.

Wendy has finished her 15 month course in Clinical Aromatherapy, with Dr. Jane Buckle, to become a "Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practioner", after having received her first certificate in holistic aromatherapy with NAHA (national register). She listens to her clients concerns, without being a medical diagnosis, and intuits which essential oil might help to bring the body, mind, and spirit back into harmony. A special sample formula bottle is mixed for her client, as a complimentary gift.

“BAMBOO MOUNTAIN GATE”: Is a mini session of hatha yoga and meditation with Wendy out on the grass in warm weather, or inside her ‘studio’. Wendy has studied Sivananda, and Satchidananda--traditional-styled yoga in Asia and in Virginia for over 40 years. She was drawn to it when she was 13 years old learning first the “Sun Salutation”. She has taught beginner’s hatha yoga in Wisconsin, Japan, China, the Philippians’, Korea, in Washington, DC, and North Carolina.

“HEALING WITH TUNING FORKS”
Through out history “sound and music therapy” have been shown to aid humans in deep relaxation, and perhaps cure emotional and physical concerns. Earliest documents show tuning forks have been used since the 1711’s in England; and they have been recently perfected by the musicologist Wilkens in 1978 in Barcelona, Spain. Their tuning forks can be manufactured to emit a pure single and precise frequency, unlike other forks manufactured before them.

30 MINUTE IONIC FOOT BATH WITH REFLEXOLOGY:
The bio-charge Foot Bath (also called a detox foot bath) resonates throughout the water at a frequency uniquely specific to each individual taking a treatment. Many of the benefits of the foot spa can be attributed to the re-balancing of the energy meridians and the raising of the bio-electrical potential of the body at the cellular level.
Some of the best results reported have been with: detoxification, pain reduction, reduced inflammation and recovery time, improved liver, kidney and colon function, as well as improved sleeping patterns.

TRACE ELEMENTS HAIR ANALYSIS:
John and I were truly amazed with this company’s ability to take a small hair sample and give a computer read-out of what minerals and trace elements that are low or too high. They make suggestions in how to bring the body back into balance so that the disease process can be lessened. They usually suggest three months of vitamins taken three times a day, and then another hair analysis done to see what the improvements are.
Most of us have developed food allergies, which can also be determined through the hair sample, and a whole list is printed out of foods to stay away from, and foods to eat. This is one of the most comprehensive systems that I have seen in years, outside of my own holistic chiropractor, Dr. Paul Thompson in Tidewater, which has done food and environmental testing through kinesiology. Being “body specific” is something all allopathic doctors should use to help prevent disease processes from birth. Most of us are the “average person” who reads articles and takes the “vitamin of the month” in hopes that we can keep ourselves youthful and healthy.
